We’ve been pretty spoiled when it comes to non-Bethesda developedBethesdagames recently.
Bethesda’s modding community really is the most talented out of all of them, and recent examples likeFallout: Londonare a testament to that.
Take a look at Fallout: Londonbelow
I’ll be honest, when I first heard aboutFallout: London, I was sceptical. It sounded too incredible to be true. Then I played it, and, just like everyone else, I was completely blown away.

That’s why I’m keeping a more open mind for the upcoming fan-made remaster ofOblivion, because so far the work that the team behind the mod have showcased looks nothing short of incredible.
Don’t take my word for it though. Take a look atthe new trailerthe team behind the game recently uploaded.
The work here looks so amazing in fact, that I’d believe it if you told me that Bethesda themselves were behind this project.
Skyblivion, as the developers behind the mod have taken to calling it, is essentially a complete remake ofOblivionusingSkyrim’sengine.

The TESRenewal group “are currently in the process of remaking Cyrodiil along with all of its quests, locations and characters intoSkyrimandSkyrim: Special Edition”, and as a result there is currently no release date set in stone for the project.
Honestly though, take your time folks. We’ll all gladly wait for a good thing.
You know, in light of the recent news regarding Activision sending the team behind the H2 Multiplayer Moda cease and desistmere hours before it was supposed to release… this kind of seems like a feel-good sort of story to me.

For all the stick the gaming community gives Bethesda sometimes, they really do understand that their modding community is one of the main reasons their games are so successful.
A lesser, dumber company would have wiped something likeSkyblivionoff the face of the digital landscape ages ago, but Bethesda knows what side their bread is buttered on.
