The Elder Scrolls 6 is technically playable, but there is a catch

The Elder Scrolls VIis one of the most highly anticipated video games of all time but yet, we still know very little about the Bethesda fantasy RPG.

Quite unbelievably,The Elder Scrolls VIwas announced at E3 2018 and still, we haven’t seen any gameplay, story details, what platforms it will be released on or when it will even be released. It’s why some gamers fear that the next entry in The Elder Scrolls series will either bereleased as a next-gen titleorwe’ll die beforeit arrives (perhaps both).

This year,The Elder Scrollsseries celebrated its 30th anniversary with its first game,The Elder Scrolls: Arena, released in 1994 for MS-DOS systems. Since that time, the series has gone from strength to strength, with its last mainline entry,The Elder Scrolls V:Skyrimlaunching in 2011 and remaining as popular as ever to this very day.

A line in the post reads when referring toThe Elder Scrolls VI,“Returning to Tamriel and playing early builds, has us filled with the same joy, excitement and promise of adventure”. So if you wanted to get your mitts onThe Elder Scrolls VI, the major catch is that you might have to get a job at Bethesda ASAP and get cosy with those close to production.

The Elder Scrolls VIwill be released whenever Bethesda deems it ready, hopefully on current systems but I wouldn’t recommend holding your breath waiting for its arrival. I suppose in the meantime, the likes ofSkyrimandElden Ringcan keep us busy, at least.
