Eagle-eyed Bethesda fans believe they’ve uncovered whereThe Elder Scrolls VIis due to be set.
While, yes,The Elder Scrolls VIis in development atBethesdaand has been for a long time, it’s also nowhere near ready to launch.
Partly, this is due to the size and ambition of the game, but also because many developers are still hard at work providing post-launch support forStarfield.

A playable build isreportedly available internallyforThe Elder Scrolls VIbut assumedly, this is pretty primitive.
Bethesda’s Todd Howard has made it clear that he wantsThe Elder Scrolls VIto have the same kind of decade-long appeal asSkyrim, so you can understand why devs are taking their time.
It’s very possible that it could be a next-gen game, considering that both thePlayStation5 andXboxseries X/S are in the latter stages of their life cycles.
In terms of official updates, Bethesda continues to hold its cards close to its chest, but fans have spotted an interesting detail on Pinterest, of all places.

Of course, this needs to be taken with a pinch of salt as the identity of the individual on Pinterest is withheld.
That being said, a link to the account shows it’s now been made private and unviewable suggesting there may be something here we shouldn’t see.
The long wait continues.
