As much as we’d love to seeTheElder Scrolls VItrailer drop tomorrow, it’s just not going to happen.
Will the next Elder Scrolls RPG be as breathtaking asSkyrim? Lord, we hope so.
Nonetheless, while a trailer is nowhere to be seen, development is in full swing now that theStarfieldteam has shifted its focus.

This information comes after Twitter user @bogorad222 noticed that oneStarfielddeveloper has updated their LinkedIn profile to now say they’re working onTES VI.
For those fans who’ve been waiting for a sign, this news is “worth gold”.
Even though this one developer has joinedTES VIteam, it doesn’t necessarily mean that everyone else is doing the same.
Don’t forget that Bethesda previously said that it would be supportingStarfieldfor years to come.

If that still holds true, we might be putting the cart before the horse, as the saying goes.
Then again, like with any big publisher, a certain amount of juggling is necessary when multiple franchises are involved.

Despite the fact that no DLC will be released forDragon Age: The Veilguard, some of the development team will still help with patches, etc.
Yes, the focus is now onMass Effect 5, but someone will also be working onThe Veilguard.
It’s more than likely that this is similar to how Bethesda will operate moving forward.
Still, it’s huge news for the Elder Scrolls community to see that shift from one title to another happening in real time.

Remember to temper your expectations; just because a shift is happening doesn’t mean the game will launch any time soon.
We’ve still got years to wait.
