Elder Scrollsfan EvenAH27said, “A new Elder Scrolls experience is unfathomable” to them, largely because they have “literally NO IDEA what to expect” from the game given the massive gap between it andSkyrim. The first release ofSkyrimwas in 2011 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC if you want to feel old.
However, despite that gap most fans are convinced the game will closely resembleSkyrimin terms of identity and gameplay. One fan said all Elder Scrolls games have had an “obvious shared DNA” and doesn’t believeThe Elder Scrolls VIwill be any different.
Another added the game will “resemble”Skyrimheavily, but “also have its own uniqueness.” Finally one fan claimed, “Bethesda doesn’t seem to have evolved much betweenSkyrimandStarfield,” and is expecting another safe, but fun, RPG experience.
