Furthermore, assuming thatThe Elder ScrollsVIwill be a no-show at Summer Game Fest 2025, it means that we’ll still have no idea when the fantasy RPG will be released. The likelihood is, we’d be waiting at least a couple more years from then, if we’re lucky.
At this point, it might be safe to assume that Bethesda chief Todd Howard is never going to give us that elusive release date and gameplay trailer for the next entry in The Elder Scrolls series. So when (or if), that reveal is made, we’ll all be pleasantly surprised.
To shed further light on just how long we’ve been waiting forThe Elder Scrolls VI,Reddit user smackler88says“Morrowindis closer toSkyrimthanThe Elder Scrolls VI isat this point. That is all.”
The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowindwas released in 2002 andThe Elder Scrolls V: Skyrimwas released in 2011, a gap of nine years. Whereas,The Elder Scrolls VI, which as we’ve already mentioned, does not have a release date is currently 13 years (and counting) afterSkyrim.
