Outside ofGTA VII think it’s probably fair to sayThe Elder Scrolls VIis the most anticipated video game sequel of all time.
Heck, don’t tell anyone, but I’m infinitely more excited for the nextElder Scrollsgame than I am forGTA VI. Give me swords and spells over guns and cars any day of the week.
The only catch is we don’t really know whenThe Elder Scrolls VIis supposed to land. We’ve heard rumours and whispers, of course, andwe know the game is in development. But we’re in for a wait.

Fortunately, a rival has emerged - one that looks like it might actually release first.
You can expect an “ever-changing setting with procedurally generated cities, dungeons, towns, and points of interest scattered between, allowing for adventures and exploration of epic proportions not seen in any other game.”

The Wayward Realmshas obliterated its original funding goal, which suggests to me there’s rather a large appetite for what this game is offering.
For now, we’ll have to sit back and wait, but I would strongly suspect that we’ll be seeingThe Wayward RealmsbeforeThe Elder Scrolls VImakes an appearance.
