The reason forBethesda’sradio silence is not really known, except that the studio has probably prioritized other recent releases such as 2023’sStarfield.

However, now thatStarfieldand its subsequentDLCare out in the world, you would at least have thought we would have a newThe Elder Scrolls 6update.

“I was in my early 20s whenSkyrimcame out and went to the mall at midnight to pick up a copy on 11/11/11, played for three hours then slept for two before I had to get up for a morning shift,” the top comment read.

“Now I’m typically in bed at 8pm watching TV on my laptop and I’ll be in my 40s before the next one comes out.”

It remains to be seen when we will receive our next update, or even a release date, from Bethesda but it couldn’t come soon enough.
