
Industry insiders claim The Elder Scrolls VI will run on a vastly superior engine to Starfield at launch.
For all its faults,Starfieldhas been a successful launch forBethesdaso far, and it’s technically not officially out yet. Despite launching for early access adopters last Friday, the title is yet to unlock for everyone else, includingXboxfans waiting for it to drop onXbox Game Pass.

However, once the game is available for everyone, and the hype has died down, attention will undoubtedly shift to the next planned Bethesda game,The Elder Scrolls VI.
Despite being officially teased five years ago, the game only recently left the planning and concept phase and has now shifted into itsfirst stages of actual development. Not a lot is known about the title as of yet, though it’s rumoured to beanother Xbox and PC exclusivelikeStarfield.
Now, another rumour from Xbox insider and Windows Central reporterJez CordensuggestsThe Elder Scrolls VIwill be a significant upgrade from Starfield in terms of its engine.

There’s currentlyno release dateforThe Elder Scrolls VI,and if it’s only just entered the early stages of development, we likely won’t see it for a while. Once it does release though, Bethesda’s focus will shift once again toFallout 5.
In the meantime, players on Xbox and PC can enjoy everythingStarfieldhas to offer if they’ve got early access. If not, a standard version of the game is set to release on the 6th of September this week.
