Fans are divided to say the least, especially since Xbox arguably needs more exclusives to remain competitive with its rivals not less. That being said many are excited at the prospect of legacy games and franchises being released on consoles they’ve never touched before.

One fan said: “I’d love to playConker’s Bad Fur Dayand other Rare games on Steam. Still hoping for a Marcus Fenix Collection too.”

Another jokingly added: “LET’S GOREDFALLON PS5!”

Some fans wanted to temper expectations, saying: “I think folks are reading too much into all this,” before explaining the Xbox has a long history of exclusives that’ll likely go multiplatform, not necessarily new titles like The Elder Scrolls.
