The Elder Scrolls VImay officially be in full development, but that doesn’t mean it’s coming out anytime soon. It doesn’t help thatBethesdaexec Todd Howard keeps hyping up the game, saying it’ll be one of thebest fantasy-RPGs ever made, and will keep gamers occupied forat least a decade.

For the time being all we can do is wait, so instead of moping about what we can’t play, let’s cast our eyes on something we can, a fantastic remake of the second game in theElder Scrollsseries,Daggerfall.

TitledDaggerfall Unity, the remake lovingly updates the old RPG with slightly more up-to-date graphics. We’re not talking new-gen console graphical fidelity, but there’s certainly an improvement to be seen.
It’s well-worth a look, especially for retro-gaming fans who are interested in seeing the origins of one of the biggest RPG series on the planet, with some modern additions and a fresh coat of paint of course.
