It’s incredibly unlikely that Bethesda will remake Morrowind any time soon, despite remakes being all the rage right now. That being said, we can turn to fan-made projects to get an idea of what a potential Morrowind remake might look like.
Bethesdais incredibly busy providing post-launch support toStarfield. We know that theShattered Spaceexpansion is set to release at some point, although we have no idea what it’s about or when we can expect it. Devs are also working on adding quality-of-life featureslike city maps. To date, the patch updateshave been rather lacklustre, instead focusing on small technical and visual improvements. Still, we know the longevity of Bethesda games andStarfieldis merely in its infancy. I expect big things in the game’s future. AfterStarfield, we haveThe Elder Scrolls VIbut for those hoping to revisitMorrowind, you may have to settle for this fan-made remake.
