You’d hope he’s right too considering the long wait in-betweenThe Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, which saw countless re-releases since its launch in 2011.

WhileThe Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivionisn’t as refined asSkyrim, it doesn’t mean it’s not as fun, and with a few mods shuffled into the mix it’s at least on par with its successor in terms of enjoyment.

One such mod you should absolutely add to your game isAI Powered Landscape Re-texture.

Now it won’t bring it up to the quality of the latest new-gen releases, it’s not a miracle-worker, but it at least smoothes out some of the more bumpy textures that haven’t aged as well over the years.

It’s a handy little mod, and worth downloading if you’re planning to replay the game on PC beforeThe Elder Scrolls VIcomes out.

As for the release date ofThe Elder Scrolls VI, we’re unfortunately none the wiser as to when the game comes out, and if it only entered full development last year we likely won’t be seeing it for quite a while.
