To traverse the world and solve the puzzles within it, Zelda uses a wand called the Tri Rod. This is where the ‘echoes’ come in: the Tri Rod creates copies of items in the world, from beds to enemies like Darknuts, providing a huge array of possibilities for completing challenges. Zelda can also use a magical sword to transform into a Link-like version of herself to do battle, although she can only do this for a limited time.
Over at Amazonit’s got a massive 4.7 out of 5 average rating from almost 400 reviews, with players particularly praising the puzzle design and the innovative approach to Zelda gameplay.
