The Lord Of The Rings Unreal Engine 5 RPG stuns fans

J. R. R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit novels are two of the most iconic fantasy tales of all time, with their influence seen throughout the world of entertainment.

Aside from the iconic novels, we have been treated to Peter Jackson’s live-actionThe Lord of the Ringsadaptations, a variety of board games, video games and much more. There is also theAmazon Prime seriesThe Rings of Power, but I’m not too sure about that one.

If you missed games likeThe Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, agame that desperately needs a remaster, then a gameplay video uploaded to the YouTube channel GameV has you covered.

The Lord of the Rings game in question is created independently using Unreal Engine 5 running at a glorious 4K/60fps giving us a taste of what we could be getting. Sadly, as this is a concept demo, it means that it’s not a game that will be released to the public.

The gameplay takes place in the location of the Battle of Helms Deep which features prominently inThe Lord of the Rings: The Two Towersas Sauron’s Army terrorises the lands of Middle-earth.

To be honest, this concept gameplay looks quite incredible. If only Electronic Arts would remakeThe Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, but until then I will not say: do not weep, for not all tears are an evil.
