The Marvels Rotten Tomatoes score is one of MCU’s lowest

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is one of the most lucrative properties in cinema history with almost every release a surefire way to bring in that Galactus box office money.

However, just because an MCUmoviebrings in the big money, it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s going to be a good film. Take for example this year’sAnt-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania(I seriously can’t believe that it was only released this year), which drew over $106 million at the box office during its opening weekend, but only has a criticRotten Tomatoesscore of 46%.

Thankfully, there are some positive words aboutThe Marvels, so it’s not all bad. “While it’s full of all the expected Marvel metaphysical head-spinning… it’s also unexpectedly endearing, a pleasant popcorn-flavoured joy ride into the cosmos, with three likeable heroes as our guides,” Moira MacDonald said.

“Fans of earlier films in the series will probably take a hard pass here, but for those of us who enjoy a bit of satirical silliness,The Marvelsmanages to be both funny and endearing,” exclaimed Linda Marric. “Kamala comes into her own here and works really well at meeting her heroes. Both the actress and the character are clearly so excited to be in a big Marvel movie that you can’t help but get a little swept up in it yourself,” explained Christian Holub.

At the end of the day, all of the above are only personal opinions and everything is subjective. So if there’s any movie that you fancy seeing, just go watch it and hopefully, you’ll have a great time.
