
If there’s one thing Deadpool does best, it’s throw shade at others, including himself. In the latest film,Deadpool and Wolverine, many jabs are thrown but one in particular reaches over to DC.
We all know thatDCis severely lacking when it comes to successful films and the recentBlack Adamis one of the worst.

Now if you haven’t seen the film yet, I’m about to spoil one of the better cameos, so get out of here.
Black Adamfeatures a cameo of its own in Henry Cavill’s Superman which was swiftly walked back as DC shook up their film division, letting Cavill go from the role.
Cavill appears inDeadpool and Wolverineas a Wolverine variant, with the hair, beard, and cigar, looking quite the part.
The jab is clearly from Reynolds, saying thatMarvelwould treat the Superman actor much better than DC ever did. It’s no secret that the treatment of Cavill wasn’t great.

Deadpool throws other jokes the way of DC, particularly the recentBatmancostumes that appear difficult to move in.
Perhaps the most subtle, but savage jibe was when Deadpool drags Wolverine into the TVA and says, referring that Wolverine will “change the hierarchy of power in the MCU.”
This a direct stab at Dwayne Johnson who joined the DCU forBlack Adamand began throwing his weight around, making decisions on behalf of management. The film ultimately flopped at the box office.

Whether there will be a response from DC, it’s hard to say, but we’re sure Deadpool will keep slinging muck their way.
