
The Simpsonsis entering its 35th season, and it’s kicking things off with a bang via a brand-new trailer.
They’re arguably the most well-known and beloved family on television, and they’ve been gracing our screens with laughs, gags, celebrity cameos and the odd crossover for 33 years.

Featuring a few brief compilation clips from episodes in the new series, the trailer revealed some familiar faces that’ll be encountering The Simpsons during whatever they get up to next, and ended with the family’s home, 742 Evergreen Terrace, exploding into a million pieces.
Homer Simpson’s boss, Mr. Burns, can be heard counting down from five before the famous house gets blown to smithereens. Fans will undoubtedly be curious as to why their home detonated, and how it gets repaired, as the house has somewhat become a character of its own over the many years the Simpson family has lived there.
It’s reported that Dan Castellaneta, Julie Kavner, Nancy Cartwright, Yeardley Smith will all be reprising their respective roles of Homer, Marge, Bart and Lisa.

Matt Selman, the series writer and current co-showrunner, recently tweeted that both seasons 35 and 36 will have a combined total of 51 episodes between them, which is great if you’ve been looking for the next show to binge-watch.
