Now the latter is consideredone of the best game expansions ever made, and it’s hard to disagree, though fans have somehow made it even better with an expansion mod that adds new content to the DLC. That’s right, an expansion within an expansion, wild.
It consists of three mods that you need to download separately, but combine into something truly special. Thefirstexpands the borders of Toussaint, the area you explore in the DLC, with new land and locations to visit. Next there’s the mod that addsa brand-new questto the game, which introduces new characters, all of which are fully voice-acted, as well as new rewards for seeing the quest through to the end. Finally, there’s a mod that adds another quest for the mountain area of the DLC, again, the new characters are voice-acted and there’s a sweet prize to claim at the end.
The quality of this expansion is astounding, so much so that you could almost believe it was an official add-on from CD Projekt Red itself.
If anything it’s worth downloading purely to spice up any repeated playthroughs, especially while we wait forThe Witcher 4to drop.
