The Witcher 3is a massive game packed full of interesting side quests, NPCs, monsters, mysteries and more, and that’s not even taking into account the main story missions. However, there is one mystery that has remained unanswered for many and that’s an NPC that can be seen in the early stages of the game.

“I believe it’s a reference to Ciri’s past in the books. She often felt like a monster for doing what she did. She killed people: some in self-defence, some because they were in the way, and others simply because they were there,” iiJashin explained.
“I believe this “dummy”isjust a random person - but a random person meant to represent the unnamed people Ciri has killed. Geralt knows about Ciri’s unnecessary killings because he dreamt of them when they were apart.”
