That is what one fan has surely been doing when they recently came across a useful combat feature a lot of us didn’t notice back in 2015.
Taking to r/Witcher3, theywrote: “I didn’t know time slowed down when you held the attack button down.”
They are referring to combat on horseback which you can do as Geralt in-game.

It is usually quite difficult to hit enemies whilst on horseback whilst swinging your sword about wildly but this new discovery reveals that holding down your attack button will slow down time and make things a lot easier.
“What??? I didn’t know that… after years of playing,” one comment read.
Another said: “After 500 hours playing this game I also just discovered this.”

Another fan explained how they stumbled across this tip whilst getting frustrated atWild Hunt’s tourney quest which tasks you with hitting training dummies on horseback.
Luckily this helpful feature will now make things a lot easier and will encourage a lot more people to fight on horseback without any struggles.
