As announced on social media, in 2024The Witcher 3is getting an official mod editor. There are, of course,already plenty of modsfor the game floating around, but official support from CD Projekt RED should open up a whole new world of possibilities.

CDPR promise to share more details soon, but one thing we do know for certain right now is that this mod support will, tragically, not be coming to consoles. This new mode will be a PC only deal, which stings a little. Still, this remains a hugely exciting prospect that should greatly enhance the life of an already massive game.
I’m already dreaming of new quests, areas to explore, and plenty of Thomas The Tank Engine mods.
