Since then, modders have brought the originalThe WitchertoThe Witcher 3with brand-newmap expansions, worked on newgraphical enhancementsand even used these new mods torecreate the original2007 title.

As a result, thousands ofThe Witcher 3: Wild HuntPC players have been flocking to Nexus Mods to get their hands on the newest additions and with hundreds to choose from already, the game is about to get another resurgence.
Some of the most downloadedmodsover the last 30 days includeNextGen Better FXwhich adds “more sparks, more/better smoke, everything covered in blood, better clouds and fog FX”. This boost to the game’s graphics will make a vast improvement despite only consisting of a few tweaks.
TheMusic Replacer Projectmod does what it says on the tin and replaces music fromThe Witcher 3with songs taken fromThe WitcherandThe Witcher 2as well as some tracks which were not used and have been discovered in the game’s files.
TheTheWhiteOne Atmospheric Reshadeadds a slight recolour to the game to give a “mix of realism and fantasy”. This will bring the game’s vast map to life even more and is a good mod to start off with if you’re new to modding as a whole.
