The Witcher 3: Primal Needs will push you to the absolute limit

However if you don’t quite fancy heading to the Lands Between, or more specifically the Realm Of Shadow, there’s still plenty of content to enjoy inThe Witcher 3once you’ve downloaded a few mods.

As you might have gleaned from the title, the mod is all about inserting some more human, primal urges into the game, which should hopefully make things more immersive. Then again, a game where you’re a mutant and slaying all kinds of mythical beasts is already a good few steps away from reality…

The Primal Needs mod’s description states it adds “ hunger, thirst, fatigue, urine and faeces as well as few other elements into the game.”

That’s right, once you’ve got this mod installed you’ll need to feed Geralt, keep him hydrated, give him his beauty sleep and give him a few minutes when nature calls.

They’re simple changes, but as far as immersion goes it completely changes the game, and should hopefully make you think twice before taking on another hunt so quickly after the last…
