Details onThe Witcher 4, including plot and characters, are still kept under wraps. All we know is that it is intended to kick off a new saga in the series, with CDPR aiming to release two more sequels after it.

When a game reaches full-scale production, this generally means the studio has finished building the foundation of development, and then work can begin on putting it all together.

This does meanThe Witcher 4is still likely a few years away though, so don’t go expecting it to be out for the end of next year. Nonetheless, it’s a major milestone that tells us development is progressing smoothly.

Considering the issues CDPR had withCyberpunk 2077during production, we can only hopeThe Witcher 4doesn’t run into the same roadblocks.
