The Witcher, specifically Geralt, is returning in a brand-new release that’snotrelated toThe Witcher 4.
No, the reasonGeraltis popping back into our lives is none other than a newWitcherbook from series creator Andrzej Sapkowski, who wrote the stories that eventually became one of the most popular video game series of all time.
It then later became a less-than-successful TV show but we don’t need to talk about that…
Many of the stories used in the TV show and video games were adapted from the books, but, of course, plenty of creative liberties were taken to fit with whatever media they were being presented through.

The last book that was released wasSong Of Stormsall the way back in 2013, with Sapkowski announcing some time later that he was working on another.
That book now has a title, Rozdroże Kruków, which directly translates to Raven Crossroads. With that in mind, the book will probably be called something likeCrossroad of Ravensif it follows the pattern of the last few releases.

As for future appearances of the character, it seems like Geralt won’t be the lead inThe Witcher 4,but given his popularity, we might see him star as a side character, perhaps in a role like Vesemir where they’re training a new and upcoming witcher student.
