Now, CD Projekt Red has once again teamed up with Go On Boards to create another board game,The Witcher: Path Of Destiny.

The developer previously worked with Go On Board to createThe Witcher: Old World, which recently shipped out to those who backed its Kickstarter.

The Witcher: Path of Destinyis a game made for one to five players, each taking control of a famous and beloved character from the series. This includes Geralt, Ciri, Yennefer, Vessimir and Dandelion. The game starts when you select the story you’d like to play through, all of which will be familiar to long-time fans.

To play, players must draw cards, assess the game board and decide where they’d like to go and what they’ll do, using the cards to give themselves an advantage or change elements of the board. Each card denotes an action, meaning playing them in sequence creates an entirely unique tale for your character.

While it’s not the game announcement fans will have been hoping for, it’ll at least be a good way to kill some time while the next game is developed, as well as be a nice pick-up for collectors.

The Witcher: Path Of Destinywill launch on 19 October.
