We’ve been waiting to see Liam Hemsworth as Geralt for what feels like years now, and finally we’ve got our wish.
Previously, while there’s beenThe Witcherteasersfrom cast readings, we’ve never seen Hemsworth in his full Geralt costume.
This new season ofNetflix’sThe Witcheris the penultimate one, with the show destined toend after five seasons. For many fans, this is a blessing.

Yet, the recent set photo that’s leaked online doesn’t look as bad as we feared. In fact, we’d argue that Hemsworth looks pretty good despite our initial doubts.
Whether he’ll live up to the legacy that Henry Cavill left behind remains to be seen – those are some big boots to fill. Nevertheless, initial impressions are quite positive.
“Sad thing is, I think Liam would’ve looked like a good Geralt from the get-go,” posted one fan on Twitter. “Henry was just such a fantastic fit for the role.”
Someone else commented, “He actually looks good i didn’t expect that.”

Have we all been playing the fool, preparing for a bad experience when none will come? The jury is still out on that. But for now, we’re feeling more optimistic than we have in months about Hemsworth as the White Wolf.
