Two actors are apparently in the running to play a live-action version of Lara Croft in an upcomingTomb RaiderTV show, and the reactions to the potential casting decisions are mixed (at best).
As announcedback in May this year, a live-actionTomb Raiderproject is already in the pre-production stage.

Although we don’t know too much about the series outside of this, it’s since been revealed that two actors are currently being considered for the lead role.
Personally, I think they’re both ok choices, I guess? Neither of them really jump out at me as stellar picks for the role, but I’m always open to being surprised.
The internet disagrees however, as the general response to these casting choices has not been positive.

I mean the internet rarely responds positively to anything these days, but the consensus on this one does seem pretty unanimous.

Amazon are likely paying close attention to the fan response however, and there’s still plenty of time for them to consider other actors for the titular role.
