Everybody’s favourite tomb raiding legend is set to get another adaptation and this time it’s with Netflix’sTomb Raider: Legend of Lara Croftwhich has Hayley Atwell at the helm.
Since she was first introduced in 1996, Lara Croft has gone onto become one of the most recognised figures in video game history. With 19 video games, three movies and a selection of novels and comics, she is as popular now as she was over 20 years ago. Not one to miss out on the action,Netflixare now getting involved with the animated seriesTomb Raider: Legend of Lara Croftset to air in 2024.

This announcement also follows the news that writer and actor Phoebe Waller-Bridge will also be taking on Lara Croft with plans for anAmazontelevision series. First revealed in January, Waller-Bridge claimed that she was inspired to write the script after playing theTomb Raidergames during the COVID-19 pandemic. With this project still in its early stages, we hope to receive more news soon.
