Ubisoft's Avatar game is an absolute blast, fans agree

I’m usually very wary when it comes to video games based on movies and before the release of Ubisoft’sAvatar: Frontiers of Pandora, I was very sceptical indeed.

To be honest, before I got a chance to playAvatar: Frontiers of Pandora, I was indeed sceptical, however, I’m glad to say this game is proving my doubts wrong, and it’s proving to be more than just aFar Cryreskin. However, it does remind me a lot ofFar Cry Primal, but in a good way. Sure, the first few hours take a while to get going, but the new Avatar game makes putting down the control pad a difficult task and it seems that fans are having an absolute blast with the title.

“I’ve been playing co-op with my girlfriend and we have had a lot of fun. We also enjoy the movies,” said Dipkota. To be fair, I’m also looking forward to eventually playingAvatar: Frontiers of Pandorawith my son soon.

“I disagree with people saying it’s just a Far Cry game, I feel like that’s reductive to what this game is. Sure, it’s an open-world shooter with a weapon wheel, that’s about where the comparisons end and for me, honestly, Horizon is closer to Far Cry than Avatar is, exclaimed zenithzinger. “Pandora in my opinion is very much an immersive sim set in the Avatar world. It makes you feel like a hunter-gatherer learning how to thrive in your environment, I absolutely love it.”
