Ubisoft’s latest game rejected by Xbox and PlayStation quality control

Ubisoft is one of the most established video game companies on the planet offering gamers a large variety of titles across many genres since its inception all the way back in 1986.

FromAssassin’s Creed,Far Cry, Tom Clancy’sSplinter CellandRainbow Sixto lesser-known titles such asChild of LightandValiant Hearts: The Great War, Ubisoft has a little something for everyone.

That being said, despite its massive success, it’s fair to say that Ubisoft has had some stinkers to say the least, includingBeowulf: The Game,Fighters Uncaged,Fighter Withinand much more. It’s no wonder thatUbisoft has a habit of cancelling projectsbefore they get to see the light of day.

In relation to theXDefiantrelease date, Rubin explained: “If we were following the standard rules for game releases, we would have set a date far enough in advance with enough buffer to have a confident release date. However, like a lot of things with this game, we have not chosen the typical route.”

“Having millions of people play your game long before it’s ready is not normal. Not being afraid to show an unfinished game to millions of people with all its flaws is not normal,” he continued. “These were real tests and not just marketing events. So, when it comes to when we will release, the real answer is ‘as soon as we can.’ And we will continue to update you with more info when we have it.”

XDefiantwill be released at some point for PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
