I think it’s often forgotten that we are fundamentally playing as the bad guys inGrand Theft AutoandRed Dead Redemptiongames, sure they’re loveable rogues who we can relate to in some way or other, but at the end of the day they are criminals, whether they like it or not.

InRed Dead Redemption 2, players are dropped into the Wild West, where just about anything goes. There’s no order, no police and no chance of survival if you’re soft or yellow-bellied, it’s everyone for themselves.
From the player’s perspective, this is just another day at the office, as Rockstar Games’ previous titles have always excelled at putting enough firepower to wipe out a small country, meaning as always it’s the NPCs who are the real victims.
A videosharedon Reddit shows this off perfectly, as it allows us to see the world ofRed Dead Redemption 2through the eyes of one of its NPCs, who has a fatal encounter with Arthur Morgan.

It’s actually quite distressing to be on the receiving end of aRed Dead Redemption 2player. Will it make us more forgiving and spare other characters the same fate? My money is on no.
