This means that those without a console will be able to purchaseXbox Game Passand access hundreds of titles.

All that’s needed is membership and a controller that connects to your television.

Only “select LG Smart TVs” will be capable of this, undoubtedly the newer models that have been released.

Despite this announcement being made, there’s still no specifics on when the app will launch.

This update comes at a time when fans are struggling to come to terms with the“corny” nameof the next generation Xbox.

As this is a leak that’s yet to be confirmed to be true, said name might be garnering backlash for no good reason.

Still, the fact that fans believe Microsoft would do something so questionable emphasises how little faith they have in the publisher.

Undoubtedly, some will welcome being able to game without a console – it opens up the community to those typically priced out.
