Xbox fans delighted by surprise RPG release

Two new massive RPGs have been released on Xbox, and are both available on Xbox Game Pass to subscribers.

The originalOctopath Travelerwas first released in 2018 exclusively for Nintendo Switch, before later being ported to several other platforms.Octopath Traveler 2, meanwhile, launched last year in February onNintendo Switch,PlayStation 4,PlayStation 5andPC, before being released onXbox OneandXbox Series X|Syesterday [June 5]. Both titles are currently available onGame Pass, meaning subscribers can play over a hundred hours worth of RPGs that are absolutely beautiful, and take the HD2D style of game into new frontiers.

Another fan noticed that the officialSquare Enixsite, the games will be removed in around a year and a half. It’s not often that we know the rough date that a game will be removed from Xbox Game Pass, with usually only around a weeks notice given before a game is removed from the service.

“I don’t think we’ve been actually given something like this [a removal date for the games] before but it does make sense considering they pulled their games from PS+ and GamePass before,” the Redditor said.
