However,Microsoftis not stopping there as it has revealed it is going to preventXboxGame Pass for consoles from being able to be stacked.
Put simply, when a Game Pass subscription has gone on sale in the past, subscribers have been able to purchase multiple months or years worth of the service to ensure they can maintain their membership at a much lower price.
However, that will no longer be the case as of September as Microsoft is going to limit the subscription to a maximum of 13 months.
“As of September 18, 2024, the maximum extension limit of Game Pass for Console will be 13 months,” Microsoftdetailedin its FAQ. “This will not impact any time you currently have stacked on your account that exceeds 13 months and will only impact your future ability to stack more than 13 months after September 18, 2024.”
