
When it comes to iconic platformers, there are not many as popular as the Crash Bandicoot series from publisher Activision and current series developer, Toys for Bob.

Not including recent spin-off titlesCrash Team RumbleandCrash Bandicoot: On the Run, it’s been a minute since we’ve had a mainline entry in the series. The last beingCrash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Timein 2020 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, before arriving on other platforms the following year.

It hasn’t been confirmed when the next Crash game will arrive but when it does, it will be the first entry in the series to be released sinceMicrosoft acquired publisher Activision. It also remains to be seen whetherCrash Bandicoot 5will be an Xbox exclusive or a multiplatform title, only time will tell.
Of course, these reports are unconfirmed at this time, so we should take them with a pinch of salt until proven otherwise. Yet, given the fact that Microsoft now owns Crash Bandicoot, Spyro and the Tony Hawks properties, it makes sense that they will likely arrive on Xbox Game Pass one day to boost those subscription numbers.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, which will be released on PC, PlayStation and Xbox on 10 October 2024. It will also launch day one on Xbox Game Pass.
