It’s believed the Xbox Game Pass brand might be getting killed off, and we slowly transition into a new service entirely.
Xboxfans are going to want to keep an eye on the latest news this week, as it’s said the head of the company Phil Spencerwill be making an announcementabout the future of the brand, and if it’ll begoing third-partyas the rumours are saying.
On a brighter note check outIndiana Jones and the Great Circle, which looks absolutely fantastic

That being said, there’s certainly evidence thatXbox Game Passmight undergo some big changes over the next few months, which almost confirms Xbox games will be ported to multiple platforms.
If you take a look at the official Microsoft pages forAvowed,FableandHellblade 2you’ll likely notice that there’s no mention of Xbox Game Pass anywhere on the page. Instead it just reads “Game Pass” and the part about the platforms simply reads “Consoles, PC, Cloud.”

Obviously take this with a pinch of salt until anything is officially confirmed this week, but it does seem to add further credibility to the idea Xbox is going third-party. If that’s the case we could very well see Xbox Game Pass become Microsoft Game Pass, since it’s unlikely PlayStation or Nintendo would allow Xbox branding on their consoles.
All that’s left to do now is sit and wait for Phil Spencer and the rest of Xbox to make an official announcement. Whatever the decision is, it could make or break the Xbox brand as we know it.
