Xbox gamer discovers hidden trick for extra free store credit

About 12 months ago, Microsoft rolled out the Microsoft Rewards program.

For those unfamiliar with the reward system, every 1,000 points you earn roughly translates into £1 of credit that you can use with differentMicrosoftservices - like for instance, theXboxstorefront.

When the Microsoft Rewards program first began, people realised it was pretty easy to earn around 10,000 points every month.

Unfortunately, it seems Microsoft realised they were potentially being a bit too generous, and some of the options to redeem points through the Microsoft Rewards program slowly started to disappear.

In arecent Reddit thread, one user noticed that they’d been given a new daily unlockable task through Microsoft Rewards.

It seems like the function isn’t available to everyone yet however, as only a couple of people in the United States have confirmed that they have access to the new quest.

To actually redeem said points, it seems you’ll have to access them from, you guessed it, the Bing homepage.

There’s currently no news on when this will be available for everyone (or even if it will be available for everyone), but it does seem the function is directly tied to the Beta of Microsoft Rewards so maybe sign up if you’re that keen to Bing some stuff.
