What makes this situation more distressing for these would-be players is the fact that it was only a matter of days ago thatMicrosoftconfirmed the game was launching on its platform.

Unfortunately, that confirmation didn’t say anything about it being this year.

When the Xbox logo disappeared fromBlack Myth: Wukong’s marketing material earlier this summer, fans feared it wouldn’t come out on the console at all.
Although the developers nor Microsoft have explained why the delay has happened, speculation places the blame on the Xbox Series S and its lesser capabilities.
Despite this being the most logical reason, it doesn’t make the situation any less maddening for fans.

Considering that the game has become the most played single-player experience onSteam, it’s understandable that those forced to miss out are unhappy.

While we bear no grudges against the smaller Xbox console, nobody can deny it’s a trouble maker when it comes to launching larger games.

Eventually it was sorted out, but the wait was still agonising.

PlayStation players have noticed issues during their playthroughs as well, further lending credence to a lack of memory being the underlying problem.
Redditor LeonSigmaKennedysaid, “[I’m] playing on PS5 and noticing that if I leave the game running for a long time, the performance starts to dip, and I get bad stuttering.”

With this “memory leak” issue hounding the game, it’s anyone’s guess when the problem will be corrected, and Xbox players can enjoy the hit 2024 game.
