Xbox gamers are slowly coming to terms with the Microsoft Rewards app termination, which will take place on 15 April.
MicrosoftRewards was a way players could earn points through both playing games as well as purchasing them, which could then be converted into a variety of prizes likeXboxgift cards and more.

Over time though the rewards service has seen a dip in quality, offering less chances to earn points and culminating in the news that it’llsoon be terminatedin favour of another application or points system.

At the time of writing, you can also earn points through theXbox Game Passhub on consoles, which’ll net you points just for playing games available on the subscription service, as well as completing some challenges.
“This is my 250th week streak. Was hoping to make it five years… Oh well, hell of a run," one person said.

“Damn, I will at least get one more 2500 before it goes…I’m just hoping the lack of challenges/quests is because everything is being moved into one area," said another.
“RIP 2500 point bonus. I’ll be seriously shocked if that survives the move as that is the last big points reward left since nerfageddon started months ago.”
The Microsoft Rewards app will go offline on 15 April, meaning gamers have less than a month to squeeze as many points of out the current iteration of the app as possible before it’s gone for good.
