If you want, I can make it even worse. According to this report, the fifth game was going to be acrossover with Spyro the Dragonin an adventure where their worlds are threatened and the two heroes team up.

I know, it would have made for a terrific platformer and been a huge hit for both nostalgic gamers and fans of cute adventures.

The team-up to end all team-ups. Spyro arriving on the scene would have been akin to Falcon turning up to supportCaptain Americaagainst Thanos.

Instead, Thanos wins and he snaps heartfelt nostalgia out of existence.

Am I bitter? You’re damn right I am. Not just because I grew up playing Crash Bandicoot and Spyro, but because the gaming landscape needs more adorable 3D platformers.

Oh well, at leastCall of Dutycan get anotherWarzoneseason, eh?

And I’m not trying to yuck you yum if you’re into Call of Duty, but there should be space for both of these things.
