Xbox players warned to avoid using key Palworld item until update is released

Palworldhas shifted over 5,000,000 copies in just three days, and has rapidly become the hot topic of the gaming world.

Already, PocketPair’s survival-crafting release has the second highest ever concurrent player count for any paid game onSteam, second only toPUBGbefore it went free-to-play. Inour Early Access review, GAMINGbible’s Dan awardedPalworldan eight, writing, “It’s astonishing how much has been packed intoPalworldgiven its Early Access status. Sure, the developers will probably expand the world, […] but what we have here is already great, and features so many small details that you’ll be amazed at what you discover. It’s a little rough around the edges in places, but the blueprint and starting product are more than enough to keep you going.” It’s not all sunshine and rainbows forPalworldthough despite its clear and evident success.

Players have already encountered their fair share of bugs inPalworld, with developer PocketPair admitting that they have over 50,000 player reports to sift through. Devs are hard at work fixing and patching bugs where possible but players have been warned to avoid one item in particular in the meantime. The item in question is the ‘Memory Reset Drug’.

There is some good news though. PocketPair has submitted a patch update to Microsoft for the Xbox version of the game. “We have submitted a patch for Xbox that addresses some of the issues that have been reported,” they wrote. “However, the patch can not be issued until it passes the Microsoft certification process.” Hang in there folks. Fixes are coming.
