Xbox exclusive open world racing series Forza is amongst the best the consoles have to offer, with the Forza Horizon games being fantastic recreations of real-life locations and collectable cars.

Forza Horizon 4is the one set in Great Britain, so it hits pretty close to home that it’s the one about to face the chopping block.

The official statement read: ““Due to licensing and agreements with our partners, Forza Horizon 4 will be delisted from digital platforms (Microsoft Store and Steam) on December 15, 2024. This means the game and its additional content will no longer be available for purchase through online stores.”

One said “This is the Forza Horizon game I played and enjoyed the most. I enjoyed it a lot, having almost every car in it. such an amazing game, it’s sad it will be delisted.”

Another, slightly angry reaction read “F*** off to all music and car lawyers. Deals for games should be allowed to continue indefinitely. They can still make money from the sales of the game. Because of them everybody loses.”

Finally one called out how quickly the game’s DLC was delisted prior to the announcement, meaning you simply can’t get it anymore and had no heads up. They said “I mean sure this was going to happen, but at least give us a heads up when it comes to DLC and not delist it just like that.”

Forza Horizon 4will be unavailable for purchase on the Xbox Store and Steam on 15 December later this year, R.I.P.
