The sheer fun ofHelldivers 2is whyXboxgamers have formed a petition in the hope of seeingHelldivers 2make its way onto the green brand and offering cross-play for all available platforms. TheHelldivers 2petitionin question has so far garnered over 100,000 signatures and counting.
However, it seems that Xbox gamers may be getting their wish if recent rumours are to be believed. During arecent episodeof The Xbox Era podcast, co-host Nick “Shpeshal” Baker claims that Sony is reportedly in discussions with Microsoft to bringHelldivers 2to Xbox Series X/S.
Of course, we should take all unconfirmed rumours with a pinch of salt until proven otherwise. That being said, given the fact that previous Xbox exclusives such as the likes ofSea of ThievesandHi-Fi Rushhave recently been released on PlayStation, nothing is impossible.
