How true this is, well, we’d have to take the claims with a pinch of salt until we received 100% confirmation. That being said, considering the amazing success that classicCall of Dutygames has benefited from lately, it wouldn’t come as much of a surprise. Heck, it’s even crossed my mind to tell my brother to finally buy a newXboxso that we can play someBlack OpsandModern Warfare 2again.

In more recent Call of Duty news, this year it’s rumoured that the next entry will be theModern Warfare IIIreboot and it’s been all but confirmed thatprogress and DLC will carry over from theModern Warfare II(2022). If true, progressing carrying over into a sequel will be a first for the series.

At this time, Activision has not officially announcedCall of Duty: Modern Warfare III(2023), but hopefully, all will be revealed in the coming weeks.
