There are two things I did not expect to wake up to this morning. The first is Taylor Swift announcingThe Tortured Poet’s Department. Shoutout to my fellow fans who were clowning forReputation (Taylor’s Version). The second, and more relevant topic, is Xbox’s switch to becoming a predominantly multi-platform supplier.

I’m sure you’ve seen the discourse storm brewing on social media. AMicrosoftemployee has allegedly leaked the upcoming strategy for theXboxbrand that would see the company step away from hardware andswitch to multi-platform releases. This would reportedly include therelease ofStarfieldon the PlayStation 5, possibly in addition to the upcomingIndiana Jones And The Great Circle. You can understand the messiness of the situation. On one hand, Xbox is struggling to land sales compared to competitors but on the other, would this new strategy not shoot them in the foot and render Xbox console’s obsolete? It’s a tricky one but it’s a question we don’t have to answer right now.

Take a look atIndiana Jones And The Great Circlein action below.
