Xbox Series X/S users surprised with free game you can try out now

An upcoming title is now free-to-play for all Xbox Series X/S and PC users and is perfect for fans of old-schoolMario Kart.

Set to release fully on 27 July,Stampede: Racing Royaleis due to be the “wildest racing event in existence” as up to 60 participants step on the gas in thrilling kart racing and battle events.

Not only can you race other players in three-round eliminator events but you can choose how you do it. Stampede Races offers classic karting action on inventive circuits whereas Stampede Battles sees competitors locked in power-up laden arenas as they fight their way to victory.

When you are not racing, you can collect and customise a wide selection of vehicles. Whether you add stickers or custom paint, it is up to you to make your wheels stand out from the crowd.

With multiple updates and events set to be added offering new challenges,Stampede: Racing Royalewill never feel stale and whether you play with friends or family or go it alone, you will finally get to put thoseMario Kartskills to use.

Stampede: Racing Royaleis available for free forXboxSeries X/S andPCusers via Xbox Game Preview. APlayStationversion is unconfirmed at this stage but a Steam early access version is in development.

Not only that but Xbox users do not have to have an Xbox Game Pass subscription in order to play.
