
An Xbox user has been banned for over a year for recordingBaldur’s Gate 3gameplay, and urges other users to be careful what clips they record.
As far as mature content goes,Baldur’s Gate 3has it in spades. As most of the internet will tell you the game is rife with gore and nudity, which isseemingly the reason so many people play the game in the first place.

In the privacy of your own home, that’s all well and good, but someXboxusers are getting into trouble for recording dodgy parts of the game. For those unaware you can record gameplay clips ranging from a few seconds to a few minutes and upload them to the Xbox network when they’re saved. You can change your settings to upload them automatically or do it manually, and it’s the first option that’s causing problems forBaldur’s Gate 3players.

Reddit user Daddy-Vegas shared ascreenshotof their account being suspended for 366 days following three clips of nude cutscenes being automatically uploaded to the network. Xbox operates on a three-strike system, with each clip earning the user a strike against their account.
Some Xbox users have queried why the company can’t just implement a mature tag that would only reveal NSFW content to those that allow it, rather than banning anyone that even dares share goblin nudes via their account.

The point was also raised that the majority of games being clipped feature people being shot, stabbed and blown up, but genitals are where the line is drawn.
Regardless, let Xbox players be warned, either be careful what clips and screenshots you capture or alter your settings to only upload when you say so, otherwise your account could be at risk.
