Other Xbox fans confirmed that if the message came from the Xbox team, it would be real, though why random store credit is being given out forRainbow Six Siegehas many scratching their heads.

“Not sure I was wondering the same thing I just got that message like an hour ago”

“If it’s a redeem code, put it in the redeem section. But yes, I’ve heard and seen people getting these randomly. I’ve never gotten one, but people do get these.”

“Getting paid to play a Ubisoft game, I would still feel scammed.”

Weirdly, the codes have only been sent out to certainRainbow Six Siegeplayers, not all of them, and even weirder is some are receiving codes for different rewards for playing completely different games.

“I had this exact same message a couple of days ago but instead it was Thanks for playing Apex Legends and they offered me a free battle pass, still didn’t make me want to go back to that game”

So, if you’ve playedRainbow Six Siegein the past year, keep an eye on your Xbox message inbox, you might be due some free store credit.
